C.P.O.シャツは、米海軍に於いて曹長クラスの兵士が公の場でトラウザーと合わせて着用された。着用していた兵士が退役する際には他の者の手に渡り、言わばお下がりとして第二の人生を歩んだケースもあった。このシャツは航空部門に関わるクルーが個人的にカスタムを施したもので、背面に施された刺繍が兵士のプライドを表している。

The C.P.O. shirt was originally worn together with trousers in public by Chief Petty Officers in the U.S. Navy. When officers retired from the service, their shirts were sometimes handed down to soldiers in same units. This shirt is one of these shirts. It was personally customized by a crewmember involved in the United States Army Aviation Branch, and the embroidery on the back represents the pride of the soldier.
